This page separates manufacturer documentation, transport information, and Saltra’s own pre-shipment inspection records. A document link does not mean that every product or finished battery pack holds the same certification.

Sodium-ion cell shipping

Bare sodium-ion cells are regulated for transportation. Saltra uses eligible ground service, packaging, terminal protection, markings, and documentation appropriate to the cell, quantity, package, and route. Air shipment is not offered through the online store.

Safe handling

Do not short-circuit, puncture, crush, disassemble, reverse-connect, or expose cells to fire or excessive heat.
Use correctly rated fusing, insulation, busbars, wiring, enclosures, and a BMS appropriate to the cell chemistry and series count.
Do not use a damaged, swollen, leaking, corroded, or electrically abnormal cell.
Review the manufacturer specifications and available safety documentation before designing or assembling a pack.
Bare cells are components; pack-level safety, certification, and integration remain the responsibility of the pack designer or manufacturer.

How product claims are presented

Values identified as manufacturer specifications—such as rated capacity, cycle life, temperature range, and maximum current—come from supplier documentation and are not represented as independently certified by Saltra. Saltra’s pre-shipment inspection verifies the identity and condition of the units being shipped and records the checks actually performed.

Pre-shipment cell inspection

Every cell order is checked before shipment. The inspection record includes open-circuit voltage, internal resistance, weight, visual condition, product identity, and the applicable cell or batch reference. Capacity testing is performed only when the product or order specifically states that it is included.
