Engineered for Builders. Designed for Safer Power.

The Engineering Behind Saltra

My name is SaiSri, Founder of Saltra Batteries, based in Aurora, Illinois, USA.

I hold an Engineering degree in Electro-Chemistry, with formal study in battery systems, corrosion science, electroplating, and applied materials engineering.

Energy storage was never accidental for me. I come from a family with a strong chemistry background, and from early on I was drawn to applied energy systems — not just theory, but real-world implementation.

During my university years, I saw a golf cart running on traditional lead-acid batteries. That moment stuck with me.

I kept asking:

Why are we still building modern systems on outdated chemistry?

That question eventually became Saltra.

More Than Batteries — A Complete Power Ecosystem

Saltra is building a hybrid energy + rack infrastructure platform designed for real-world deployment — not just components, but systems thinking.

Current Focus

• Sodium-ion battery cells
• Rack-mounted PDUs
• DIN rail components
• Rack cable management accessories

In Development

• Pre-assembled sodium-ion battery packs
• Rack-integrated energy storage systems
• Hybrid power + network mini rack builds
• Expandable modular energy platforms

We operate as a long-term brand — not a short-term importer.

Why Sodium-Ion?

Sodium-ion technology represents a practical step forward in energy storage.

It offers:

• Nonflammable chemistry
• Strong deep discharge resilience
• Improved cold temperature tolerance
• Reduced lithium supply chain dependency
• A more sustainable materials base

Sodium-ion may not replace lithium everywhere — but for solar backup, RV builds, rack systems, telecom backup, and off-grid applications, it presents a compelling and safer alternative.

Who We Build For

Saltra supports:

• DIY energy builders
• Solar and off-grid installers
• RV and mobile power enthusiasts
• Homelab creators
• Rack and control panel fabricators
• Influencers showcasing clean builds
• OEMs evaluating lithium-free storage

To installers, builders, and early adopters exploring next-generation energy storage — Saltra is built for you.
