ZERITHIUM SIB-48: Our First 10kWh Sodium-Ion Pilot Batch Is in Production
Share
Saltra's first ZERITHIUM SIB-48 supplier production batch has been ordered. This is a two-unit pilot batch intended to move the project from supplier documentation into real U.S. receiving, inspection, and customer-support readiness.
What the SIB-48 is
- 48V-class rechargeable sodium-ion battery system
- 210Ah nominal capacity
- Approximately 10.4kWh nominal energy
- Integrated 200A battery-management system
- CAN and RS485 communications hardware
- Manufactured as a finished pack by Seplos for the Saltra pilot
What “pilot batch” means
The units are supplier-ordered and are not represented as current U.S. inventory. Saltra will reconcile the received model, serial identity, configuration, transport documents, manuals, and physical condition before expanding availability.
Saltra is not claiming that every pack will be tested with every inverter. Inverter compatibility depends on the exact inverter model, firmware, communications protocol, wiring, settings, and installation. Prospective customers should provide their intended inverter and application so the configuration can be reviewed before an order is accepted.
Founders pricing and future availability
Customers planning a 48V-class solar, backup, or off-grid project can join the SIB-48 founders-interest list. Joining is free. It is a request for configuration review and future pricing—not a claim that inventory is ready to ship, a guaranteed delivery date, or a non-refundable order.
Why Saltra is publishing the process
Sodium-ion systems are emerging products, and labels such as “sodium compatible” are not enough. Saltra is building each public offer around an exact cell family, pack configuration, documentation set, shipping path, and supported use case. We will update this page as the pilot moves through production, receiving, and commercial readiness.
